you need to realise that they can't wait until the sales demand is there to build a new data centre, because it takes too long to build and we want to be ahead of the pack.
There is enough demand in the data industry to justify building these centres years in advance. picture 5-10 years from now, I'm guessing m2 s2 will be full and the hyper scale centres will be starting to get some contracts.
