re: Nervous day for holders What happened to you Rem. is one reason I gave up on warrants, plus the fact that the issuer loads up the premium to unacceplable levels at time of issue, especially if the issuer is the sole agent offering warrants over that underlying stock at that price and period.
I've stuck to writing ETO's with reasonable success and am now looking to trade futures. Premiums and I/vol less of a problem.
At any one time I found that there were only about 8 or 10 optionable stocks that had the liquidity and reasonableness of spread to make them a worthwhile punting proposition. And then you had to be on your toes.
Warrant market is in a slide and it will only get worse if citibank's behaviour is something to go by.
