    Weak gold in the face of a strong US dollar? That is certainly a contrarian view, particularily after golds big run up on friday. Fundamentals for gold are great and terrible for the US dollar.If they raise interest rates sure the dollar goes up but at the cost of hurting the already on its knees housing market. The last thing credit hungry America wants is higher interest rates.
    The lower cost of energy is also a plus for the miners, I see little downside in gold in the medium term, just my opinion.
