I agree with your comments entirely.
The reason I think gold will reduce is because markets are influenced by the behavior of sheep.
The reason I see the gold price dropping, and you are very correct, inflation is a hedge. But it is also a fear gauge.
I believe people will get comfortable and as comfort returns fear will subside and people will find more useful places to get dividends and regular returns.
I am totally with you, it should increase... but I feel it ran too hard too fast. I am very happy to be wrong, and I hope I am. But my gut feeling tells me I'm not....maybe that was just a big breakfast lmao.
