re-occurring trend

For those experienced TA's out there? I invest mainly on fundamentals, though i'm interested and would like to understand more about the recent fluctuations (and manipulations) of this stock, as i am planning on being a long term holder it doesn't affect me too much though have noticed similar patterns.
Periods between 21/11/10-16/12/2010
Looks very similar to what we've experienced between 24/1/11 and now.
If so we are looking at an uptrend in the coming days?
Is this caused by the BOT's, the big boys trying to scare away the less experienced like myself
or just the current econ climate.
Any response would be valued and appreciated.
