Over the last few weeks there has been a lot of posts indicating disappointment at the lack of upward movement in the SP. Yes, we would all like to be seeing the 100% gains that happened since June. But most of latest SSN announcements had already been factored into the SP a while back. There had not been a "mind blowing" announcement since the impending land sale announcement that sent the SP into orbit.

The posters that are disappointed with the SP have become conditioned to expect the daily rises that happened in the lead up to the land sale. Unfortunately TB advising that the SP would be near 10c mark after the land sale instilled a lot of expectations and when this didnt happen the ST invester expecting the 30% increase departed.

SSN has over 1 billion shares but the trade volume has been very light - usually less than 5 million a day - a tiny percentage. What does this tell me ? - that the vast majority holders of SSN shares are happy holding on and the current noise in the SP is due to the very small percentage of ST Traders and DT traders that are seeing that better gains AT THE MOMENT can be made elsewhere. These investors would not have even read what SSN is all about. The true believers in the SSN story are still holding and are probably up to their eyeballs in SSN shares.

Reality is ....there is a limited amount of investing dollar to go around. In the last few weeks many stocks in the "hot sectors of the week/day" have made great gains and this is where you will find the ST invester and the Day trader. SP rises are cyclic - SSN is taking a breather ATM because other stocks out there are having the dramatic SP rises that SSN had previously and that is what the "investor" money is chasing at the moment. Yes SSN is very undervalued but so are many, many other stocks out there as well.

Volume is needed to move the SP northward.
Who will bring the volume and provide the kickstart? Either an institutional investor or the ST / DT investors.
If they havent come by now...what will make them come? A JV, some great flow rates, T/O offer, Resource update etc etc. Unless it is "out of the ordinary" announcement we should not be expecting a sudden dramatic increase in SP. The SP will go up but as a step by step increment as the story unfolds.

I view SSN as a great place to "park" my money more than any other stock I own because I trust TB to take care of it as best he can. And yes ...I am willing to take a punt that TB will increase my investment 6 or 7 fold. Why? because since January he has already increased it at least 3 fold.
