Re>Pal is pleased to announce that we have signed a 27-month contract to deliver 31,000 new design C48 pallets and 6,000 NPL pallets to PT Jordan and Trading in Indonesia our best performing reseller. They will distribute the pallets to their clients who have not used Re>Pal pallets before. We will make a new Re>Pal C48 pallet. Our new insert design process means that we can manufacture a two piece welded pallet that also is lighter than prior models meaning that this improves handling efficiency for our clients while being a better margin pallet.
PolyAluminium (Polyal) from TetraPak is separated from the carton cardboard packaging materials and due to its high aluminium content, it is desirable that it can be used, and reused so that the lifetime value of the materials are extended.
We have been able to reuse this material for the past 2 years and have had many satisfied clients. We are pleased to say that we have also expanded the potential applications for the pallets by proving that we can create coloured pallets by adding master batch to the Polyal pellets we create in our factory, from the Polyal waste material.
Our new friction washers have arrived and are being tested. A friction washer or friction separator is a high-speed water cleaning machine for mixed plastics with high contamination or persistent dirt. This removes the last of containments before our drying process.
We are very excited about the new equipment. It increases the capacity of our final cleaning process by 100%. In affect doubling the output of our wash plant and the number of pallets we can make every day.
With COP26 looming in November in Glasgow the world is focusing on Government commitments to a sustainable future. With dire predictions of a warming world, businesses such as Re>Pal Indonesia will be more in demand by clients and investors. It is against this backdrop that we launched our latest round of investment in the business to build the platform for a push towards and through breakeven in 2022 and we successfully completed our capital raise with the support of existing shareholders and underwriters including Peak Asset Management, Ridge Capital and Alluvion Capital.
Also, against this circular economy backdrop it is very pleasing to have the support of clients and also now suppliers and we are seeing more support from Tetra Pak as we use more of their Polyal in our product with the launch of a new coloured range.We are delighted to have Tetra Pak’s supportive collaboration and they have also kindlyrecently created a video with Marcus GoldsteinLastly, we are thrilled to have won a new order from our reseller PT Jordan for 37,000 pallets, more below!
