I understand what you are saying. However if I look at all the example businesses you make - all were trouble businesses for reasons outside of having debt issues.

Compares to those examples you list he Centro situation appears to be a new example and a unique given the material tightening of credit globally and Centro generates good earnings in a business that can manage through a recession.

A bank pulling the plug on a business like Centro that has strong income flow doesn't make a lot of sense.

Unfortunately if one bank weakens for purely selfish short term reasons it could trigger a house of cards with the rest - one in all in.
