Fair point Octain - it is a little bit of loose example, however the point still stands.
Banks would normally roll over the debt in normal market conditions - it was clear to them what Centro's full debt position was when they lent the money - no secrets or surprise here. Banks are in the busiess of rolling over the debt and making even more money off the interest.
