Yeah I know why you mean peace - it is very unusual behavior here on a quiet thread but I have noticed that when people post reasonable answers on PYC and get a couple of ups they are pretty quickly knocked down again.
Occasionally I have upped my own post to test it and sure enough it gets knocked back to zero.
Not sure why anyone would bother knocking down here - it's just a small band of followers chatting till something happens . . . .
As a general comment on the 'like' phenomena or 'thumbs' measurements - unless it is attributable best to ignore it. I use it on HC to find the good jokes under humour and to find the meaningful posts on new stocks I am reading up on but that's about it.
