Due to a lot of international traders, when Qbe receives good info like it has this morning, it usually takes the next day before the response is delivered in full.
What I am saying is expect another ramp up in share price this afternoon and tomorrow morning after Europe & US digest the current macro events of higher govt yields and currency movements favouring QBE.
The S& P news will also provide the necessary impetus to facilitate investing by funds managers & super funds who might have been cautious with Qbe due to the previous negative watch.
I also see China manufacturing down today will further destabilise AUD.
My feeling is we should reach $17 by end of tomorrow.
