I think the boost may be a combination of factors.
Firstly, that there are quite a few explorers around us finding pretty decent gold hits so a nearology effect could be happening.
Secondly, those who watch closely of who is currently waiting drill assays may be buying the rumour / deciding to jump on board before it spikes as others have recently (not saying it will, just what others have done)
Thirdly, the rise in gold price has probably sparked a keen interest in juniors from a variety of groups of investors / traders.

An important thing to remember in times like this, is we don't know who or what kind of person is buying the shares or why. could be long term sophisticated investors, could be some traders just going about their days, or could be Gary from the pub...

This is all a positive move in the right direction for us all, just saying that remembering why you bought this and what your own profit / strategy goals are.
