With near on 100 m shares changing hands since the 5 th of Jan, and the SP retracing as low as 7.2 c yesterday, delighted to see <3m share volume today and a close of 7.5 c.
We will all have varied views on why the SP gains, following all the news from CES, were not sustained / extended. The surge in the opening auction last week (to high 8 c) was IMO a hallmark indicator that the ‘professional’ end of town were setting the stage for a big soak on any loose supply. After all, why would they not be excited about the Company’s future and be part of action. So whether their algorithm play is to secure beneficial entry, to cement existing gains or deliver a sustained run on the share as a trading strategy, there will certainly be motive.
I suspect we will see more in the way of ‘rinse and repeat’, but my read is the stage is now set for upward (& sustained) momentum. If I was not protecting a beneficial entry point, I would certainly be buying more at these levels.
