I respectfully disagree that the IQbuds will be left out. As a student I can't afford a substantial holding (still a significant number but nothing huge) so I say this without having too much emotion involved. In my eyes, I see the LiveIQ as the budget version.
Personally, I would go past the LiveIQ and see the IQbuds as the more attractive model. The functionality to change audio in different situations or environments I feel is more attractive than a mere capability to noise-cancel. Don't get me wrong - both are fantastic features and appropriately priced models. At the same time; whose to say musicians, office/telephone users and even those who have the budget for it I feel would still opt for the IQBuds. We have to remember, while we have a "niche" product, we are presenting it to a variety of markets. I think the release of the two new products expands our target market to everyone from "Joe Blow (LiveIQ)" to amateur musicians or phone workers (tax deduction? [IQ Buds]) to those with hearing difficulty or a big budget.
I agree with your other comments RE: sales figures, but as I've said above, I respectfully disagree that the IQ buds will be left behind. All of this is my mere opinion, and I'm no expert, but just my thoughts.
