Unless we have very long lives, living to at least 120 years.
Even so, technological advancement will make electronics mostly unrecognisable in 40 years' time, much less 80 years.

My position is that ARL to mine out the Ni/Co/Sc/Li/REE resources within 20 years.

1. Why save half of the resources for 20-40+ years in the future? How do we know that these minerals will still be in demand then, rather than being substantially replaced by others?
2. Also, I consider the effect of time on the value of money (its purchasing power). An ARL share at $5 today is worth more than $10 in 20 years, or $20 in 40 years, or $40 in 80 years.
3. There will be good dividends paid out over the years, which helps to offset the declining purchasing power of the dollar. But there's still the everpresent downside risk mentioned in point (1) above.

The oldies were right when they said that a bird in hand is worth two in the bush.

Regarding the Sc market, some analysts commented that current supply needs to increase by several folds and then stabilise at a consistent level to encourage adoption of Sc-based tech. Until then, the Sc price will remain opaque and be negotiated individually between producer and purchaser.

In this regard, I'm of the view that ARL is moving in the right direction if its Sc resources are included for mining in the DFS.
