Kunche resource out - 516,000 oz at the Kunche deposit in Ghana. Modest grades, but shallow resource (so far only to 100-150m depth) and mineralisation from surface. Recoveries averaging over 90% on first pass metallurgy.
New field season starting with good regional targets in an area that has little exploration (mainly only soil sampling and the like). Should be able add more resource this season
$3 milllion in cash, low mkt cap.
Also looks the people behind Castle Resources (CDT), another Aussie explorer in Ghana, are looking to take control of AZM. May result in a combined company through some sort of 'friendly' merger if CDT are successful.
