Some ST traders don't like to hold overnight/over-weekend. Others don't like to hold for the announcement, and hold for the build-up but sell before the risk of a dry well (hopefully a small risk in the case of SSN!). Some STers will have bought with the announcement yesterday, and are selling out as the little run has (temporarily) finished. Remember the volume today is low compared to yesteday.. this can only be a good sign for a longer term investment (high vol on the up days, low vol on the downs).
Something I have noticed with SSN is that it often moves pre-announcement. I don't beleive this is because of info leaks, more because the announcements are reliably positive so traders can 'preempt' a price rise.
My take.. ignore the bumps, set a loose stop-loss and have patience! :)
