re: confirmation needed at this stage I think any downside is limited today.. the evidence?...it might be a smallish short play if you got in at the top overnight but despite the drop in oil, copper and gold overnight BHP still ended up 1.8% in NY overnight, and banks and consumer cyclicals will love the lower oil price.... bonds are off a bit in price but will probably stabilise around this level which seem to match the fed rate ... and a stack of forward indicators are now supporting the soft landing scenario ... and of course there's the US elections still a month away... and simple momentum... I think as said before that the markets are going to be choppy over reporting season but mostly sideways chop imho ... cheers!
