    My thinking it's to do with capital raising but there is also a possibility of the partnering deal:

    "The plans for this trial have been devised in parallel with our partnering discussions with a number of major pharmaceutical companies. These discussions are ongoing and could result in a partnering deal at any time BEFORE DURING OR AFTER the next trial.
