He did not buy half mn shares on market. This half mn shares were conversion from his performance rights. At the time Gavin converted his performance rights to ordinary shares SP was 34.5c. This half mn shares, according to an announcement (page 5) on 22 July 2022, are freebies to director Gavin Lockyer.
If he bought them on market, "Nature of change" will be "On-market purchase", not "Issue of 500,000 shares pursuant to Arafura’s
Performance Rights Plan."
