MJA-You have touched a nerve which everybody is aware of, but one which almost everyone side steps and avoids.This used to be a robust site with spirited opinions expressed in very forthright terms,with some probably over stepping the bounds of normal civility,but still expressing their concerns "from the heart"with no malice intended.Perhaps their lack of eloquence counted unfairly against them.

We were advised by the administrators of this site that lawyers were rooting out the "heretics" with legal action being contemplated against them.In all fairness the company(MYG)has never gone any further than to state its displeasure at the "pernicious commentary"being passed around as being fact.It has wisely not to my knowledge pursued legal action against any poster on this site.Some posters apologised (including myself)for being a bit harsh,but also recognised that the board was caught in the 28 day pre AGM trap in which only so much could be divulged.

It should be pointed out though that being harsh, offensive, unfair,even abusive etc. is not illegal-misrepresentation of the facts resulting in loss of personal stature is,which is quite a different matter. In pursuing its ambitions the board did suffer a first strike and in this context it would be foolhardy that legal action against certain share holders would be contemplated.

Yet all is not well.We have a permit to start mining,money is close to being in the bank,we look promising everywhere except on the score board-i.e the SP-.095! Why this is so, is still anybody's guess-but I would suggest apart from an uncertain gold price we are still held back by 1)the scepticism dogging the failed history of deflector and 2)the reluctance since last October to feel free to speak one's mind on this site.Stifling free speech,or at least a perception that an attempt has been made to this,is mortifying.What I have seen since then is posters being very guarded as if they were walking on egg shells.Completely unhealthy and counter productive.The SP has also generally been muted since then.-perhaps co-incidence, but perhaps only-who knows.

In the absence of a perplexing low SP,if this unhealthy reluctance to state ones case without fear or favour is a recognised but deleterious determining factor,then it would be prudent of our very competent management team to come out and "knock it on the head' i.e clear the air.Failure to do so would mean the Albatross would keep on hanging from our necks.We have enough head winds to cope with....removing this one would lighten the load and restore healthy debate.

And now in the present climate I have to proceed to make a fool of myself.What I have said above is "without prejudice"
That is precisely my point..how ludicrous, that one has to be as guarded as this when mentioning management even just in passing.
