My guess is that at least 30% of the stock is tightly held by shareholders who understand the value of the technology if properly sold. They wont sell all of their holding unless the price gets to about 3-4 times what it is now.
I wouldnt expect to see an announced takeover bid for some time - rather on market as there are too many short term traders (and nervous nellies) who are happy to sell cheap - why would a buyer want to give tag along rights at a much higher price.
I also would not be surprised if we never find out who has been acumulating what offshore. Holding companies and commercial arrangements are easily organised.
