I think that everyone is missing the point that death by starvation is often a natural thing. Many old people give up eating gradually and certainly when they are dying so that their body starts shutting down. Often they are medicated to ease pain but it doesn't keep them alive, the lack of food and nourishment is what brings about their death. Artificially feeding someone is unnatural not the lack of nourishment. If this had been my daughter I would not want her to have lived in a half life after having known her as a vital human being. To call this murder is emotive
