re: that's alot of red on the map Hi Billroy - you raise an interesting point. The radiometric signature in the lake is likely a secondary effect produced by radiometric daughter products. It is not necessarily a direct reflection of uranium mineralisation. But the daughter products in the lake indicate the possible presence of a large "Parent" body upstream.
This means the deposit, if there is one there, is actually likely to be on the lake margin rather than the lake itself. Looking at TOE's maps they have got tenements over the southern shore of the lake so my guess is that is where the "feed" to the lake is.
Still, the pretty picture does make the fundamental point: whatever is responsible for such a large secondary radiometric plume is likely to be a very large system.
