Wow - just weeks ago all the heads on Bloomberg were talking up the Aussie against the US and Yen and take a look. This is phenomenal - at this rate we will be back at the .50US mark soon (especially as these kinds of movements tend to overshoot).
That said though, I think the AUD/USD was not relistically priced in recent years - somewhere around 60-65 is probably about right.
