I have seen many wells drilled for oil and gas and found nothing, so there still appears to be a special place to look, and even after 200 years of looking and developing an amazing array of technology to get very smart about where to look, the industry just can't seem to get it right every time. Then again there are those who honestly believe that the 'big oil' consortium of Shell, BP etc know where all the oil is.
it seems that the little companies have to do it the hard way...
