re: on the brink of disaster Still, the biggest telco in Australia, and I'm sure some major players would love to get a controlling interest. Is this why it is low, and why the regulator won't do anything for them? So that it can be sold to Liberal cronies at a rock bottom price?
Dividend is high compared to other companies at a similar sp, the whole country is borrowing against the future, seems to be standard policy, why not TLS?
Short and medium term, difficult, long term, who knows? But I'd bet it will high again a few years after the T3 dust settles, and after next year's ex-dividend plunge, expect a steady recovery.
