re: uganda update not a bad result; that strat trap must be at least 50 sq kms in the bottom zone, and the limit has not been reached. I reckon even at only 3 m net pay you must be looking at over 50million barrels, and there were previous comments by management that the reservoir was excellent. At this stage, odds must lean towards a successful production test.
They tested beyond the structural closure on the upper sands, but there must be still at least 20 sq kms of closure there, and with that size gross, and a reasonable net/gross, I still believe we are looking well beyond that "minimum 30 million barrells", and getting over the 100 mmblls. The fact that other fields are likely on shore just makes it better.
Response is strange, and I am sure a few will regret this later. And there won't be any Tiof like development delayed involved in bringing it on to production.
