Indeed Fringey, the democratic party has always been the preferred home for liberal jews. I have little hope that they will have the stomach to resist the zionists just as there is little chance that Labor here will declare its independence of thought from the ruling zionist clique in Oz. Certainly Beasley was a shameless supporter of Israel no matter what attrocities they committed.
