Tweets showing things like the gold being poured and videos of mining in action are a good use of twitter. People investing in a gold mining company would naturally enjoy those types of videos. What strikes me though is the amount of speculation surrounding how much gold is being produced based on these videos. Normally I would think that people going to great lengths to gauge mould depths or looking at tyre tracks in the distant background of the mill to see where machines are bringing ore from is completely over the top and unnecessary. But to me, this shows how desparate many SH’s are for information. IMO, if the company would release results in a timely manner, people wouldn’t feel the need to write pages and pages of bla bla bla, analysing little twitter videos to the n-th degree to try and get some answers. Confidence isn’t there with many SH in trusting management to keep to their end of the deal. Wouldn’t it be nice to sit back and enjoy cool twitter video just for interest sake?
