re: well design flaws

Hugh, how on earth is this Asic's issue?
Are you of the belief that Asic are to monitor each company's announcements or lack there of, and be held accountable for them?
If this were the case, then Section 3.1 (Continuous Disclosure) would totally fall apart (not saying that companies are flawless in thier reportng).

For all the holders in HDR who keep on being disappointed (moaning or b#tching would be a nastier way to say it) an easier option to you is to sell !!!! Yes, wow...what a crazy thought, if u don't like how something is being run you sell.
It's obvious that many ppl are attached to this one...but remember money is still money.
If you want exposure to Chinq, buy one of the other partnners' shares...if you want exposre to another Oily...look around...just don't keep on moaning whenever you think HDR's mgt isnt doing what you'd like 'em to.
Sorry to write this....i just think it makes perfect sense (to me at least).
