re: what a joke Call it greed, call it hope, call it patience, I can admit to all of those. But what is foremost in my mind, is that oil stocks generally are underpriced in relation to the oil price and the looming prospect of peak oil, and are due to be rerated. That is why I'm prepared to take a long term view of arq and the like. It also helps to ease the pain when I fill the car to remind myself of my oil holdings.

I've also recently bought into NWE, CVN and STX - good oil trading stocks bought at current levels in a sector with strong sentiment, and one of them might actually get lucky (after I've sold out).
