from my understanding the HTL will take out the FBT, charities included. MMS salary packaging has the software and know-how to account for these benefits.
IMO this is a real good way to stall economic growth by removing further incentive.
There are no short sales on the ASX so holders are running for the door.
Worst case MMS revenue could be seriously effected by HTL so sub 2.00 is a real possibility. From memory one of the main directors sold a seizable sum of shares before this proposal was made public.
However if wise heads prevail a watered down bill will be passed and you will have a nice bounce on your hands.
Look at the insolvency laws being proposed that place shareholders somewhere below the crumbs in the pecking order if company's do go insolvent. Ticker IMF
