According to the Motley Fool's Dan Caplinger's article dated 14/dec/2012 "Has Geron Become the Perfect Stock?" there could be a new buyer in the market for Geron's stem cell technology !

Geron has a non-binding deal with BioTime (NYSEMKT: BTX ) for the division, but with speculation that Teva Pharmaceutical (NYSE: TEVA ) or another big pharma stock could make a competing bid ,Geron is hoping to get some cash to further its own research." writes Caplinger,
