I'm expecting a lot of people to run around like headless chickens. We are in black swan territory where the usual rule of follow the herd doesn't work. As such, you will see a lot of commentators talking nonsense because it is times like this that those who have no wisdom show their true colours.

Somebody (not me) made a killing in the GBP fx market today. The political plates are moving. Enjoy the ride. Fortunes will be won and lost.

The bureaucratic unwinding will take years. The UK is not the first country to leave the EU, there is precedence for the process. What is different about the UK is its size and the underlying weakness of the EU as a result. So don't worry, nobody will be left stranded without a passport or work visa.
