    Well I wouldn't imagine it would be a case of flicking the "on switch" and "we're away".

    But it is a given IMO or they wouldn't be "now conducting a battery of safety tests, which are expected to be complete in August, after which the 846MW reactor will come back online. The Sendai station’s second reactor is expected to follow suit in October".

    Looks to be timing sentiment nicely with when we will are scheduled to be in production - could the stars finally be aligning for PEN?

    "It is likely that of the 54 reactors in operation before the Great East Japanese Earthquake, only 43 will be re-commissioned. The remainder will be scrapped because of high costs, local opposition or seismic risks, according to Reuters."

    So 80% of the reactors are scheduled to be fired up.  I note that it does not mention any of them being scrapped because of their age - which would also be a contributing factor.

    You can keep maintaining your glass half-empty, pessimistic view but this IS something that is going to happen
