Fair enough Triage. Yes I agree the announcement has a lot of waffle in it. It seems like CC was trying hard to reassure grumpy shareholders. I also agree the placement would have been much better done when the SP was at 70c, but the gold price would have still corrected and the fallout may or may not have been worse if the placement investors had started selling en masse. All if's and but's. I invested in IGR a couple of years back to take advantage of a rising gold price. I never expected it to take off like SLR or some of the other gold miners because it already had a substantial market cap. But there is still plenty of potential and I reckon slow and steady wins the race. I don't have a hell of a lot of skin in the game... I am spread around as this is a risky sector, but to me IGR is one of my more rock solid investments, excuse the pun.
