I think management probably jumped at the deal instead of waiting till we got the 60%, because the Indians are going to be bringing more to the table than just their cash.
Sharon has made a great deal out of buying Mount Bevan which is worth $120m as it stands to Legacy, for just $1.5m spent to date.
I think she has a crafty way of getting some serious upside for shareholders.
After all she is the biggest shareholder, so why dilute herself if there is not an end game benefit.
