I am not that big a fan of Warren Buffet either.
It is more the symbolism of the announcement.
Not so long back Buffett and Bill Gates were short the $US to the tune of $1 billion.
The Super model Gisele Bundchen only wanted payment in Euros.
Everyone was spruiking short the dollar.
It was a very crowded trade.
It signaled to many that a bottom was in for the $US.
I think we will see a very big short covering rally.
It has started already.
