"sentia neo has 6.67%...get over it..."

Well stuverine as sierra so correctly points out they are paying the costs of 6.67 % and will earn a 5% share of the production IF they have got a commercial well.

In my book 5% of a producing oil and gas well is quite good in the circumstances.
If they do have a commercially viable well and lets say that it produces at say a basic rate for the area of 500 barrels a day. With current oil price around US$114 then that would be a gross income to the JV partners of US$57,000 per day.
NEO's share would be about a gross of US$2,850 per day or US$ 19,950 per week or US$1,037,400 per annum.

Now they are suggesting that production rates could be up to 1,000 barrels per day. Therefore double = US$2,074,800.

That is not taking into account the gas production and sales that are also anticipated from this well.

And .... oh yeah.... of course if this well is a goer then that leads on to further wells (possibly on the Bullseye prospect to increase output) but also on nearby prospects now if Bullseye (Jumonville) turns out well.

So not only will there be an income stream from Jumonville (IF successful) which will help fund further involvement in the area but it will provide a oil and gas reserves boost to NEO and therefore to the valuation of the share.

Therefore success at Jumonville will turn the corner for NEO. It will have a small cashflow soon from the sale of gas from JH 3-13 so an additional cashflow from Jumnville would be beneficial and lessen the need for capital raisings from the shareholders.

5% of the income may be small. But for NEO it will be a big step forward.
