Turning to the maths, saving about 45 mins per cycle 50% of the time should enable to company to do around 6 - 6.5 cycles per day (120,000 - 130,000 tonnes per day). 22/x
In short, company has found a way to save about 45 minutes per transhipper cycle, which should lift current shipping capacity to 6 to 6.5 cycles per day.
Also consistent with what i've observed of them doing 6 cycles, 3 days in a row, and looks like doing it again today too after 5 yesterday.
Given this development i was also researching the crusher capacity, because someone says it was a constraint at 41 m t pa.
I found this quote from CE at AGM, suggesting output is 15 m t pa per crusher:
"So we've got our crushing innovation. We've been able to put three 15 million tonne plants on the ground up there. We call them NextGen II plants, I believe. They're quite innovative, we can get that done for under a $0.25 billion." That's the quote from Chris at the AGM.
I did some work on it on Chat GPT which says because of the modular a scalar design, 3 can actually do up to 50 m t pa, provided you get your maintenance and downtime scheduling correct.
In any event, they'll probably add a 4 th crusher soon at say $50 m cost or less, so no constraint there.
