Over the years (at over 76 I have a few behind me) I have found I missed out on a lot of good investments trying to pick a bottom for a particular stock. I settle now for buying what I consider a good bargain, based on fundamentals. There are plenty around now. I will make mistakes, make that have made mistakes. However I will have a substantial holding in a variety of stocks when the market picks up, as it will. The banks need borrowers, the governmemt needs to keep the country employed. The sun goes down daily but it will rise again tomorrow. Nothing really changes.
