read the detail?

Excellent news indeed, and a great effort by Len and co after years of planning.

Reading the announcement in detail I was really excited by the following:

"The company is investigating the economics of utilizing small scale plant to take gas from the project in this pre production phase to generate power to run the site. In addition an assessment is being made of the economic returns of various power production scenerios for the 200MW stage 1, with the advantage of generating cashflows earlier than previously planned."

This suggests to me a real commercial focus from the Cougar Management team, understanding there is a PR battle to win with the Government, investors and community alike. Producing electricity for the site and bringing forward cash flows, even if only ideas, gives me confidence the team are focused not only on the technology, but also the business of selling it. I would hazard a guess Brad Glynne might have been an influence in this!
