Read this before buying MYR!

This is a re-post of something I said in another thread but felt it deserved it's own thread:

If Myer's expenses go down and sales go up then the stock price will go up or if a buyout happens but that is asking for a lot. I walked into a Myer the other day and two out of the three floors were dedicated to clearance items and there were 12 customers in all three levels. The store itself was in a sad state, ripped carpet, broken and dirty roof tiles, dripping water, flickering fluorescent lights and a squeaking that was either coming from the AC and or escalators, I couldn't tell to say the least. At this point, the security guard was following me because I suppose it looked sus that I was even in a Myer store, or I was kinda dressed like a bum but tbh I thought I would of blended in with all the crappy merch on shelf. 90's were defiantly Myer's time to shine, but with cheaper and more convenient online stores, customers are properly asking, "is it worth paying the 70% off a $400 Jacket?". It honestly looks like the CEO is just cashing in his paycheck and has just tossed his arms in the air. Kogan's market cap is now larger then Myer and even if their margins might be kinda thin, their overhead is a lot less (I am not a holder in KGN). I got in MYR at the IPO price of 4.10 or there about's and cashed out at 3.60. I follow Myer quite closely only because I find businesses that were once good, fall apart quite interesting. Blockbuster Video, Commodore/Amiga, Toy's R Us and even the Yoyo cycle Apple had in the 80's and 90's I study and continue to study.

Myer is highly speculative and there are better buy's out there for real returns, which is my point. Wild cards might happen which in that case YAY for longs!

Sometimes it's just easier to cop the loss.
