With The Reject Shop, they are strategically positioned in lower/mid socially economic areas which target families, retirees, unemployed or financially struggling people into selling mostly homewares and essentials. They have a goal, they have a vision, they have a market/target audience and are not over expanding with a great leadership team. They have been net positive for as long as I can remember although I haven't been following them for a while now, but I do know they have exclusive contracts from suppliers such as Coke which might be part reason for where they are atm. I went to a job interview once with TRS (didn't get the job, 20 people for 1 store manager position) and they made me sit through a whole 1.5h of talking, but it was interesting I suppose. I didn't know they had over 200 stores Australia wide at the time haha. You can only compare TRS with MYR with how different they are I think. I have no idea what MYR is doing, just a huge ?
