Agreed, I tried to convince myself they still had potential. But as soon as I got out I realized a lot of the stuff swarmi was saying had some truth to it.
When you evaluate the company there isn't much going for them.
Rec it/Speakiesy: I thought this idea had potential, but the truth is the branding and design sucks and kids don't care about it. They've already got 5 or so other better designed social platforms to look after.
BNR: Cringe worthy articles that further the PC gone mental culture. Most the likes are bought and not organic, even if it was performing well I wouldn't want my money to be associated with it.
Runhaven: Cool idea and probably their best platform, although most the articles are pretty generic and have been re-worded and cut and pasted a million times.
Tagroom: I think we all agree this one was flop.
In Summary: A company that has spent millions on websites and apps that an IT student could have built for a couple hundred bucks, plus a bunch of overpaid chairmen who swindled stockholders with big claims that are looking less and less likely to ever happen.
