Came across this opinion by a 73 year old ex Squaddie in the Australian Newspaper. Best article - short, sharp and right on the money!

If they had fired meat pies they would have been more effective.
They have now reaped a whirlwind, Invasion,helicopter gunships, tanks, F16’s and the best rockets America can supply, So far the death retaliation rate is 100 to 1.
This is Shock and Awe all over again, that saw 2,000 cruise missiles rained down on mostly innocent women and children in Baghdad. It makes me, a 73 year old Australian ex soldier feel ashamed to be part of the human race.If I was an American I would be asking how many billions these arms have cost their taxpayers over the past sixty years, and what has it achieved. If I was an Arab, I would be ashamed to even admit it. We, collectivly, are all worse than animals.Roll on global warming, We do not deserve a planet to live on.Give it back to the cockroaches.
