To quote Arafat "They beat us on the battlefield but we'll beat them in the bedroom", demographics favour the Palestinians. Except for the ultra-orthodox with big families, Jewish Israel has the same baby-bust as the rest of the western world while Palestinians have Third World and beyond birth rates.

Israel has been going for 60 years, it will only be going for another 60.

The Palestinian diaspora has had much like the Jewish experience of past 1900 years since the Romans kicked em out of Judea- they have filled the ranks of professional classes throughout the Arab world (for the same reasons as the Jewish diaspora, denied being allowed to own farmland in agrarian societies). So when the Jews leave The Levant once again then Palestine will be quite a leading light of the Arab world. I just hope that in reliving the Jewish experience the Palestinians don't have to go through a Holocaust.
