The sales of Relenza have revived recently due to reports of drug resistance to Tamiflu and it has become an essential part of Government stockpile to combat Pandemic outbreaks. The European Medicinal Agency EMEA advised governments to constitute stocks of both the drugs to fight Pandemic H1N1. The sales of Relenza since 2005 are shown in Table 3 and Figure 2 [51] [52]. In the first 9 months of 2009, its sales were $715 million and are projected to cross $1.2 billion by the end of the year. Wall Street analysts have projected a sales increase of over 1.5 billion for Glaxo due to the high demand for Pandemic Influenza [53]. In the 3Q 2009 report glaxo announced that 60 governments had signed contracts for Relenza and the company has orders for 291 million courses of the antiviral drug. GSK production of 190 million treatment courses of Relenza in 2009 along with enhanced production of Diskhaler and Rotacaps
