but the offer from Beach was On-Market : so they had to accept all the shares offered to them on-market thru their broker.
I think what you are referring to above relates to an Off-market offer.

Boy, I hope the MD of Icon reads this forum! But I guess he already knows LOL!
Hey, maybe that why the original deal between Icon and Beach provided for a placement of 5% (?) to beach - but in the final washup, there were NO ICN shares placed with Beach. Now we can see why.
